Project Overview: Renovation and Maintenance at ASTU

ASTU, a 3rd Generation university, has undertaken a comprehensive renovation and maintenance initiative to revitalize several buildings on its campus. Currently, some blocks are under maintenance, while others have been partially handed over. The project includes mixed-use (commercial and guest house) blocks in the downtown area (Franko), a G+4 condominium in the town , a staff lounge, a daycare center, a secondary school, and a sports field within the university premises. The project aims to enhance key facilities to better serve the ASTU community. Previously, many blocks were non-functional, but through rehabilitation, they have been fully restored.

The renovated guest house has been transformed into a modern, multi-purpose facility that will not only accommodate visitors and students but also generate financial support for ASTU. With its upgraded amenities and flexible usage, it can host academic guests, university partners, and conference attendees, making it a valuable asset for the institution.

Additionally, the condominium now provides comfortable residential housing for staff, while the staff lounge offers a dedicated space for relaxation and professional interactions. The daycare, primary, and secondary schools have been upgraded to create a better learning environment for children, and the revitalized sports field promotes physical activity and well-being.

These improvements have significantly transformed the campus, enhancing its functionality, sustainability, and overall appeal to all stakeholders.
